Our approach

Natural means
considered.

Alopecia is not one condition. We first understand your diagnosis, stability and goals, and may ask you to consult your medical professional before cosmetic treatment.

01

Condition-aware planning

Active or changing hair loss requires extra caution before treatment.

02

Flexible design

Coverage is planned around the location, shape and scale of visible areas.

03

Transparent guidance

If SMP is not appropriate for your situation, we will say so.

Alopecia is not a single pattern

Different forms of hair loss can have different causes, progression and distribution. Before aesthetic planning, we ask about the diagnosis, stability and any active irritation. When loss is new, changing or unexplained, assessment by an appropriate medical professional should come before scalp micropigmentation.

Planning follows the real distribution

We consider the shape, scale and location of visible areas and the coverage that remains around them. The aim may be to reduce contrast in one stable zone or create a more coherent closely shaved appearance, depending on suitability. The same design is not applied across different forms or stages of alopecia.

A tone that works with the scalp

Pigment selection considers skin tone and response, the colour of remaining roots and haircut length. Distribution remains varied and is built gradually. When exposed scalp covers a broad area, excessive intensity can make treatment more conspicuous instead of helping it blend.

What SMP can and cannot offer

SMP may reduce the visual contrast between skin and existing hair in suitable, stable cases. It does not treat alopecia, affect its cause or stimulate new growth. Future changes in the pattern can alter design needs, which is why stability and the longer-term appearance are discussed at the outset.

When waiting may be the responsible advice

Active inflammation, broken skin, rapid progression, an uncertain diagnosis or an expectation that visual camouflage cannot meet are reasons not to rush. We may ask for guidance from the medical professional overseeing your condition. An honest recommendation to wait is better than an application that will not remain coherent as the pattern changes.

Preparing for a useful assessment

Bring information about diagnosis and stability, previous medical or cosmetic treatments and unfiltered photographs in different light. We discuss your daily haircut, the areas that matter most and what you consider a discreet change. Any cosmetic proposal is individual and does not replace medical advice.
