Our approach

Natural means
considered.

Density SMP does not add hair or stop hair loss. For suitable, stable patterns, carefully placed pigment impressions can reduce the contrast between the scalp and existing roots so the part line or crown appears less prominent.

01

Assessment comes first

We consider the pattern, stability, scalp condition, hair colour and the coverage already present.

02

Your hairstyle stays yours

The treatment is planned beneath existing hair; it does not require a shaved-head aesthetic.

03

Medical clarity matters

New, rapid or unexplained thinning should be assessed medically before cosmetic camouflage is considered.

Assessment around your existing hairstyle

We examine the part line, crown, strand thickness, root colour and the way you normally style your hair. Treatment is planned beneath existing coverage and does not require a shaved-head look. Stability of the thinning pattern and scalp condition come before any aesthetic recommendation.

A restrained distribution and tone

The aim is to reduce visible scalp contrast, not to create a dark block of colour. Tone is judged against the root and skin, while impressions remain varied so the area does not appear drawn in. Each stage is reviewed only after the skin has settled.

Limits and medical clarity

Women’s density SMP does not treat the cause of hair loss or grow new hair. New, rapid, painful or unexplained thinning should be assessed by an appropriate medical professional before cosmetic camouflage is considered. If the pattern is unstable or coverage is insufficient, we will say so clearly.

The part line and crown are assessed in motion

One photograph from above is not enough. We observe how the part opens, how strands fall when styling changes and where skin appears in natural light. This lets treatment focus on genuine zones of contrast without extending unnecessarily into areas already covered well.

Treatment remains beneath visual coverage

Impressions are designed to work as background between existing roots. They should not replace the appearance of hair or form a solid shadow when the part moves. Tone and density therefore stay restrained and are reviewed after the scalp settles before another step is considered.

Planning includes the future pattern

Women’s thinning can change in extent and distribution. We discuss whether the pattern is stable, what medical investigation has taken place and how altered coverage could affect the visual result. Cosmetic camouflage should not delay appropriate medical advice or be presented as a promise that thinning will not progress.
